The Boat Dreams
This is an account of the three boat dreams I had on September 24, 2020 with notation of the scriptures I was led to while completing this account.
DREAM ONE
In what seemed to be a flat bottom boat or a barge, I was floating on it down a narrow body of water. The water was crystal clear. I could see people under the water, floating on their backs. I could clearly see their faces, and it was as if they were under a pane of transparent glass. It reminded me of the scene in The Lord of the Rings – Two Towers at the Dead Marshes. What was so different was those floating under the water looked very healthy and were finely dressed with their eyes closed. I wrote down that they looked ‘lovely,’ and I surmised they were just asleep. It felt as if they were waiting for something. I was peering over the edge of the boat, looking into the water at them, not sure what they were waiting on.

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
DREAM TWO
I was on another flatboat, but it was like an airboat they use in swamps, like you see in the south. We are going along, and suddenly, the waterway becomes jammed with not trees but with iron rods. They were all different colors and were sitting just on top of the water. Some were on a fixed pivot point, moving side to side, like a pinball game flipper. However, they were long rods of iron. I could tell they were very heavy. The boat I was in steered right into them. Going directly toward them at a slow pace and found a path, one rod pivoted to the right, and we stopped. I woke up.
Revelation 2:26-28
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star.
I fell back asleep and had the next dream.
DREAM THREE
This time, the boat I was in was an enormous white cruise liner. It was on a waterway where you could see both sides of the land. I am not sure where I was. It may have been the deck, but suddenly, the entire ship was pulled high into the sky. Next, I was in what seemed to be a plain white lifeboat on the water. It reminded me of a child’s folded paper boat but not quite. It had no markings to speak of, just solid white and smooth. It was scooped out with rounded edges and was like sitting on the inside of a white plastic spoon without a handle. There was no way to steer it. There was no rudder nor any paddles. I was alone in the craft. I was in the boat floating on the right side of the waterway. All of a sudden, I was flipped up in the air and turned upside down. I then landed back in the water, seated in the white ‘spoon’ lifeboat near the right bank. I was still alone. I then looked up and saw the enormous ship gently fall to the body of water. There was no splash when it hit the water, and I can see people standing on the deck. I was off the starboard side between the ship and the land. People were gathered on the deck, and I could see faces in the porthole windows. The water was very calm and intense blue. The ship was heading East, and I could see the land to the North and the land to the South as it made its way off into infinity.
1 Thessalonians 4
Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
